Urine color can tell a lot about your health

The above chart describes the amount of water intake to be maintained for a healthy kidney and body. Water level of your body is one of the most important things to be taken care of.

There are several other reasons which can cause color of urine to change.

Red / pink or orange colored urine
Some Natural foods like berries and beet can change the color of your urine to red, you should not worry in such cases. If you have not had such food recently then reddish color indicates a damage to your kidney or infection in the urinary tract, which could be a cause of concern.Toxic contents like mercury or lead can also cause reddening of urine. Medicines like azulfidine and pyridium can result in orange colored urine..
Brown colored Urine
It means you are not drinking enough water and your body has dehydrated, when going out in the sun you should increase your water intake to protect from dehydration. Brown colored Urine can also be result of kidney or liver disorder.

Green colored Urine can be the result of Urinary infection, or due to dyes used in processed foods.

Having plenty of water keeps all your vital organs in healthy shape, water for body is akin to engine oil for engines, the shortage of it would damage your engine.

@rakesh sounds true and logical

@andres its quiet possible that color of food would reflect in the urine, just like i mentioned some berries and beet can change urine color similarly coffee might also alter the urine color

i always drink a lot of water, and i think its one of the reason that i never fall ill

Good post. But I am not sure if it is correct at all. I have darker urine when I drinking lot of coffee. so this kind of test looks to be only for optimal person who is not drinking colored drinks or eating special food.
